SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4—710(c) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974
Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

4-710.

(c) A person nay not fish with any net whose size
of stretched mesh, allowing a reasonable tolerance for
shrinkage, is less than the following: pound net, [2
1/4] 1 1/2 inches; haul seine, 2 1/2 inches; gill net, 2
1/2 inches; fyke or hoop net, 2 1/4 inches. This
subsection does not apply to catching eels with a net.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

[[Baltimore City]] — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of excluding [[in Baltimore City]] those
premises that have been acquired for public use by
certain governments or their agencies from the
requirement that certain alcoholic beverage licenses
expire providing that the license for a premises
acquired for public use shall expire within a
certain time under certain conditions , clarifying
language, and adding lettering as appropriate.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
