AN ACT concerning

Pensions — Miscellaneous Provisions

FOR the purpose of [[correcting erroneous references in
the definition of "Employee";]] permitting the
Boards of Trustees of the State Retirement Systems
to utilize nominee registration for securities held
by them and generally relating thereto[[; defining
"year service" as a year or any portion thereof for
purposes of computing creditable service for certain
members of the State Employees' Retirement System;
modifying the accrued liability contribution rate of
the Employees1 Retirement System; changing the types
of short term investments permitted for Social
Security contributions; granting service credit in
the State Employees* Retirement system, upon payment
of contributions with interest, to members who were
employed on a temporary or emergency basis;
permitting any person who becomes a member of the
Judges' Pension system and who was formerly a State
employee to purchase previous service credit under
certain conditions; and relating generally to the
State Retirement laws.]]
