Senate Bill No. 14—By the President (Administration):
AN ACT concerning

Interest and Usury

FOR the purpose of increasing the legal rate of interest which may be
charged in Maryland on certain loans secured by a mortgage or deed
of trust on residential real property, stating certain conditions there-
for, and generally relating to interest and usury.

BY adding to

Article 49—Interest and Usury

Section 13

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement)

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Rules.
