Amendment No. 99—

On page CJ Sec. 2-40 of the printed bill, Sec. 21, immediately following
line 21, insert:

"(g). The provisions of Sections 12-307 and 12-308 of the Courts
and Judicial Proceedings Article, dealing with allocation of jurisdic-
tion of the Court of Appeals and Court of Special Appeals after De-
cember 31, 1974, apply to any appeal noted to or petition for certi-
orari or other application for appellate review filed in either of those
courts after December 31, 1974, without regard to the date of the
judgment or other action which is sought to be reviewed."

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 100—

On page CJ Title—3 of the printed bill, in line 50, immediately after
"§2-102" insert "and §2-104"; and on page CJ SEC. 2-8, Section 4 of
the bill, immediately preceding line 21 insert:

"2-104.

(A)    The Maryland Rules for the summoning of a witness, and for
depositions and discovery, shall apply to all actions and proceedings
of the court in the same manner and with like effect as they apply
to the law and equity courts of this State.

(B)    A WITNESS ATTENDING THE COURT IS ENTITLED
TO THE SAME COMPENSATION AS A WITNESS ATTENDING
THE CIRCUIT COURT IN THE SAME COUNTY."

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Senator Bishop offered the following amendment from the floor.

Amendment No. 101—

On page CJ Sec. 1-6 of the printed bill, Sec. 1-203 (b), in line 4, strike
"PRACTICE." insert "THE AGREEMENT SHALL BE IN WRITING
AND A COPY SHALL BE FILED WITH THE SECRETARY OF THE
MARYLAND JUDICIAL CONFERENCE."
