Amendment No. 65—

On page CJ 7-8 of the printed bill, in Sec. 7-204(b)(i), line 32, strike
out the word "BALTIMSRE" and substitute for it the word "BALTI-
MORE".

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 66—

On page CJ 7-11 of the printed bill, Sec. 7-206, following line 4, insert
the following:

"(C) FINE AND COSTS TO BE SENT TO CIRCUIT COURT.

IF A CRIMINAL CASE IS APPEALED, THE FINE AND COSTS
COLLECTED BY THE DISTRICT COURT SHALL BE FOR-
WARDED TO THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR DISPOSITION IN AC-
CORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION."

And in line 5, strike out the word "(C)" and insert in lieu thereof "(D)";
and in line 14, strike out the word "(D)" and insert in lieu thereof "(E)".

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 67—

On page CJ 7-15 of the printed bill, Sec. 7-402, in lines 19 and 26;
and on page CJ 7-16, in lines 15, 22, and 29; and on page CJ 7-17, in lines
16, 23, and 30, in each case strike out the phrase "NOT LESS" in both
places it appears and in both places insert in lieu thereof the word
"MINIMUM"; and on page CJ 7-15 of the printed bill, Sec. 7-402, in lines
20 and 27; and on page CJ 7-16, in lines 16, 23 and 30; and on page CJ
7-17, in lines 17, 24, and 31, in each case strike out the phrase "NOT
MORE" in both places it appears and in both places insert in lieu thereof
the word "MAXIMUM".

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 68—

On page CJ 8-2 of the printed bill, Sec. 8-102(b)(2), in line 5, strike
out the word "OBLIGITION" and insert in lieu thereof the word
"OBLIGATION".

Amendment No. 69—

On page CJ 9-1, Secs. 9-101, 9-102, and 9-103, of the printed bill, strike
out lines 4 through 17, inclusive, and insert in lieu thereof the follow-
ing words:

"SEC. 9-101. GENERAL.

UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SUBTITLE: (1)
A PERSON SHALL NOT BE EXCLUDED FROM TESTIFYING
IN A PROCEEDING BECAUSE OF INCAPACITY FROM CRIME
OR INTEREST IN THE MATTER IN QUESTION; AND (2),
LITIGANTS AND THEIR SPOUSES ARE COMPETENT AND
COMPELLABLE TO GIVE EVIDENCE."
