Amendment No. 47—

On page CJ 3-72 of the printed bill, Sec. 3-840, in line 32, strike out
the word "WOULD"; in line 33, strike out the word "RENDER" and
insert in lieu thereof the word "RENDERS"; and in line 37, strike out
the words "WOULD RENDER" and insert in lieu thereof the word
"RENDERS"; and immediately following line 34, insert the following:

"(A) OFFENSE DEFINED."

and immediately following line 39, insert the following:
"(B) CONDITION.

A PERSON MAY NOT BE CONVICTED UNDER THIS SEC-
TION UNTIL THE CHILD HAS BEEN ADJUDICATED NE-
GLECTED, DELINQUENT, OR IN NEED OF SUPERVISION."
