Amendment No. 22—

In line 20 on page 4 of the first reader, strike the numerals "28-3" and
insert in lieu thereof the numerals "29-3".

Amendment No. 23—

In line 22 on page 4 of the first reader, immediately after the word
"AT", insert the words "OR BEFORE"; and in the same line strike the
words "AS IS FILED"; and in line 23, immediately after the word "CAN-
DIDACY", insert the words "IS FILED".

Amendment No. 24—

Strike all language in lines 26 through 32 on page 4 of the first reader.

Amendment No. 25—

After line 32 on page 4 of the printed bill, insert the following:

"(B-2) EXCEPT FOR A PERSON WHO HAS FILED A STATE-
MENT PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (A) ABOVE FOR THE
SAME YEAR FOR WHICH A STATEMENT OTHERWISE WOULD
BE REQUIRED TO BE FILED BY THIS SUBSECTION, EACH
CANDIDATE FOR NOMINATION FOR, OR ELECTION TO, AN
OFFICE SET FORTH IN SUBSECTIONS 29-3(J), (K), (L), OR
(M) ABOVE SHALL FILE WITH THE APPROPRIATE LOCAL
BOARD OF ELECTION SUPERVISORS, AT THE SAME TIME
THAT PERSON'S CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY IS FILED,
THE STATEMENT REQUIRED BY THIS SUBTITLE, FOR THE
CALENDAR YEAR IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE YEAR
IN WHICH THAT CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY IS FILED."

Amendment No. 26—

After line 32 and subsection (B-2) on page 4 of the first reader, insert
the following language:

"(B-3) IF THE CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY IS FILED
PRIOR TO JANUARY 1 OF THE YEAR IN WHICH THE ELEC-
TION IS HELD, THE CANDIDATE SHALL, ON OR BEFORE THE
LAST DAY FOR THE WITHDRAWAL OF CANDIDACY, FILE A
SUPPLEMENTARY STATEMENT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR
IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE ELECTION; AND IF HE
FAILS TO DO SO, AFTER WRITTEN NOTICE OF HIS OBLIGA-
TION, GIVEN AT LEAST 20 DAYS PRIOR TO THE LAST DAY
FOR THE WITHDRAWAL OF CANDIDACY, HE SHALL BE
DEEMED TO HAVE WITHDRAWN HIS CANDIDACY."
