AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 21
By Delegate J. W. Douglass offered from floor:
Amendment No. 1—
In the title of the printed bill in line 7 after the word "therefor," add
the following: "providing for the rate of interest applicable to loans after
the expiration of this Act,".
Amendment No. 2—
On page 1 of the printed bill in Section 13 in line 21 immediately
prior to the word "ANY" add the letter "(A)"; and on page 2 following
line 6 add the following:
"(b) AFTER JUNE 1, 1974, THE INTEREST CHARGED ON
ANY LOAN MADE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SEC-
TION SHALL REVERT AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT ANY FUR-
THER ACTION REQUIRED BY THE BORROWER TO THE RATE
OF INTEREST WHICH IS ALLOWABLE UNDER THE PROVI-
SIONS OF SECTION 3 OF THIS ARTICLE."
