House Bill No. 12—By Delegate Hopkins:
AN ACT concerning

Election Code—Financial Disclosure Act

FOR the purpose of providing for the disclosure of interests held in cer-
tain real estate and other financial holdings by certain elected and
appointed State officers, officials, and employees, and imposing cer-
tain duties on the Secretary of the Maryland Senate, Chief Clerk of
the House of Delegates, Clerk of the Court of Appeals, and the Secre-
tary of State of Maryland.

BY repealing

Article 33—Election Code

Section 28-1 through 28-5, inclusive, Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement as enacted by Ch.
894 of the 1973 Regular Session of the General Assembly).

BY adding to

Article 33—Election Code

Section 28-1 through 28-6, inclusive, Annotated Code of Maryland

(1971 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement).

Interest and Usury—Legal Rate of Interest

FOR the purpose of suspending the limitations on the legal rate of interest
from and after the effective date of this Act until July 1, 1974.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,

Article 49—Interest and Usury

Section 3, Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume

and 1972 Supplement).
