PROJECTION OF MOVING EQUIPMENT ON THE SIDE OPPOSITE
THE TROLLEY WIRE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears
as Article 66C, section 558(a) of the Code.
The reference to "June 1, 1949", is
proposed for deletion because it is
obsolete. The reference to animals is also
proposed for deletion because they are no
longer used in mines. The only other
changes made are in style.

(E) CLEARANCE ON TROLLEY WIRE OR "TIGHT"
SIDE.—-ON THE TROLLEY WIRE OR "TIGHT" SIDE, THERE
SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE TO PREVENT THE FARTHEST
PROJECTION OF MOVING EQUIPMENT FROM RUBBING OR COMING
IN CONTACT WITH RIBS OR TIMBER.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears
as Article 66C, section 558(b) of the Code.
The only changes made are in style.

(C)    SIDETRACK, PASTING, OR ENTRANCE CLEARANCE

REQUIREMENT.--___ANY NEW SIDETRACK, PARTING, OR ENTRY

EQUIPPED WITH MORE THAN ONE TRACK SHALL HAVE A
CLEARANCE OF AT LEAST 30 INCHES BETWEEN THE OUTERMOST
PROJECTION OF MOVING TRAFFIC.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears
as Article 66C, section 558(c) of the Code.
The reference to "June 1, 1949", is
proposed for deletion as obsolete. The
only other changes made are in style.

(D)    CLEARANCE SPACE ON ENTRANCE TO HAULAGE
ROAD.—-AT LEAST 30 INCHES OF CLEARANCE SPACE ON AN
ENTRY TO ANY HAULAGE ROAD SHALL BE KEPT FREE OF
OBSTRUCTIONS OF LOOSE ROCK, COAL, SUPPLIES, OR OTHER
MATERIALS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears
as Article 66C, section 558(d) of the Code.
The phrase "driven before or after June 1,
1949", is proposed for deletion so that all
entries no matter when driven, must conform
with the provisions of this subsection.
The only other changes made are in style.

(E)     CLEARANCE FOR LOADING OR UNLOADING
SUPPLIES.—AMPLE CLEARANCE SHALL BE PROVIDED AT ANY
POINT WHERE SUPPLIES ARE LOADED OR UNLOADED ALONG
