VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION OF THIS SECTION OR ANY RULE
OR REGULATION MADE PURSUANT TO IT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Article 66C, section 215 of the Code. It
is divided into subsections for purposes of
clarity. Nomenclatural changes reflect
Chapter 348, Acts of 1972- The only other
changes made are in style.

4-624. TRESPASS ON LAND TO FISH IN PRIVATELY OWNED
PONDS PROHIBITED.

IF A PERSON WHO OWNS, CONTROLS, OR ERECTS AN
ARTIFICIAL POND ON LAND HE OWNS OR POSSESSES, PUTS ANY
FISH OR THE EGGS OR SPAWN OF FISH IN THE POND FOR
BREEDING AND CULTIVATING PURPOSES, AND GIVES NOTICE BY
WRITTEN OR PRINTED HANDBILLS IN PUBLIC PLACES NEAR THE
POND, NO OTHER PERSON MAY ENTER THE PREMISES TO FISH,
WITHOUT OBTAINING THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Article 66C, section 214 of the Code, as
amended by Chapter 181, Acts of 1972. The
reference to fishing has been omitted since
catching and taking fish renders redundant
any reference to fishing. In addition, the
penalty is proposed for deletion in light
of the uniform penalty provision of this
title.

The only other changes made are in style.
4-625. RESTRICTIONS PERTAINING TO DEEP CREEK LAKE.

(A)  CONSTRUCTING WHARF, PIER, OR DOCK PROHIBITED.
- A PERSON MAY NOT BUILD, CONSTRUCT, HAVE CONSTRUCTED,
OR PLACE ANY WHARF, PIER, DOCK, FLOAT, OR ANY
PROJECTION ALONG OR RUNNING INTO OR OVER THE WATERS OF
DEEP CREEK LAKE WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A WRITTEN
PERMIT FROM THE DEPARTMENT AND THE LESSORS OF THE
AREA.

(B)    CLOSING OF DEEP CREEK LAKE PROHIBITED;
EXCEPTIONS. - THE DEPARTMENT MAY NOT CLOSE TO THE

PUBLIC ANY PART OF DEEP CREEK LAKE AT ANY TIME DURING
THE TERM OF THE LEASE BETWEEN THE STATE AND THE
