4-610. DUTY TO POSSESS AND SHOW ANGLER'S LICENSE WHEN
ANGLING.

A PERSON SHALL POSSESS HIS ANGLER'S LICENSE WHILE
ANGLING IN NONTIDAL WATERS AND, UPON DEMAND, SHALL
EXHIBIT THE LICENSE TO ANY NATURAL RESOURCES POLICE
OFFICER, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, OR LANDOWNER OR HIS
REPRESENTATIVE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language
derived from the first clause of Article
66C, section 220, as amended by Chapter
181, Acts of 1972, which is proposed for

repeal.

4-611. SALE OF ANGLER'S LICENSES BY PERSONS ENGAGED
IN RETAIL BUSINESS.

(A) APPLICATION BY PERSONS IN RETAIL BUSINESSES;
EXCEPTIONS. - ANY PERSON ENGAGED IN A RETAIL BUSINESS,
EXCEPT WHERE DISTILLED SPIRITS ARE SOLD FOR
CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES, WHO DESIRES TO SELL
ANGLER'S LICENSES AS AN AGENT UNDER THE DEPARTMENT'S
CONTROL AND SUPERVISION SHALL PRESENT THE DEPARTMENT
WITH A CERTIFIED CHECK, POSTAL MONEY ORDER, BANK
DRAFT, CASH, OR OTHER CHECKS AS APPROVED BY THE
DEPARTMENT TO PAY FOR EVERY LICENSE THE PERSON DESIRES
TO SELL. EVERY AGENT AT THE TIME OF PURCHASING
LICENSES SHALL DESIGNATE TO THE DEPARTMENT THE
LOCATION WHERE HE SELLS THE LICENSES.

(E) MINIMUM QUANTITY OF LICENSES DISTRIBUTED. -
THE DEPARTMENT MAY NOT DISTRIBUTE TO ANY AGENT LESS
THAN THE NUMBER OF LICENSES OF EACH TYPE SPECIFIED IN
THIS SUBSECTION:

(1)  10 RESIDENT

(2)  10 RESIDENT 65 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER

(3)  5 NONRESIDENT

(4)  10 SPECIAL POTOMAC RIVER (FOR RESIDENTS
ONLY OF DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, VIRGINIA AND WEST
VIRGINIA).

(5)  10 7-DAY TOURIST.

(C) REPORTS OF SALES; REIMBURSEMENT FOR UNSOLD
LICENSES. - THE AGENT SHALL FILL OUT EVERY LICENSE AND
DUPLICATE STUB IN A LEGIBLE AND PROPER MANNER AND
