BEFORE PASSING A FINAL ORDER THE SAME COURTS AND
JUDGES MAY REQUIRE THE PARTY APPLYING FOR RELIEF AND
EXTENSION TO SERVE NOTICE ON THE COMPTROLLER OR COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, OR BOTH, ACCORDING TO THE CHARACTER OF
THE TAXES REPRESENTED AS IN ARREARS.

NOTHING CONTAINED IN THIS SUBHEADING MAY PREVENT
OR DELAY ENFORCEMENT BY THE COMPTROLLER, COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, OR OTHERS INTERESTED OF THEIR RIGHTS
AND REMEDIES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: The effect of this section of the
bill is to transfer Art. 26, §§ 43-46 to Art.
81 for organizational purposes.
SECTION 14. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That a new
§7-602(d) be and it is hereby added to Art. 93,
Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Repl. Vol. as added
to or amended by any law enacted at the 1973 regular
session of the General Assembly), title "Decedents'
Estates", subtitle "Administration of the Estate", to
read as follows:
7-602.
(D) AN ATTORNEY WHO PROSECUTES OR DEFENDS ANY
CAUSE IN THE COURT IS ENTITLED TO DEMAND AND RECEIVE A
FEE OF $10.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This is the substance of that
portion of Art. 36, §10(a) dealing with
appearance fees in the Orphans' Courts. The
other provisions of §10 (a) appear in §7-204
of the COURTS AND JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS
ARTICLE as set forth in §1 of this bill.
SECTION 15. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That with
respect to every person who was an employee of a court
of limited jurisdiction, including a trial
magistrate's court, who became an employee of the
District Court pursuant to the provisions of §149 of
Art. 26, Annotated Code of Maryland, as enacted by ch.
528, Acts of 1970, and as amended by Ch. 423, Acts of
1971, and Ch. 181, Acts of 1972, and who elected to
remain under a county, city, or municipal leave,
retirement, or health system, the county, city, or
municipality in question shall make whatever payments
