SEC. 6-202. ADMINISTRATION.

THIS SUBTITLE SHALL BE ADMINISTERED BY THE STATE
CHEMIST SUBJECT TO THE SUPERVISION OF THE SECRETARY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66C, §472 of the Code. All other
present references to the State Chemist in
this subtitle are proposed for deletion to
reflect the department organization which
includes the State Chemist as a unit within
the department. This section is retained to
indicate clearly to the Code user that the
State Chemist has the authority to administer
this subtitle. However, language is added to
reflect the fact that the Secretary has the
ultimate responsibility for administering
this Article; See Art. 41, §430. The only
other changes made are in style.

SEC. 6-203. ENFORCEMENT; RULES AND REGULATIONS.

THE SECRETARY SHALL ENFORCE THIS SUBTITLE. AFTER
NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING HE MAY ADOPT REASONABLE
RULES AND REGULATIONS NECESSARY TO SECURE THE
EFFICIENT ADMINISTRATION OF THIS SUBTITLE.

SEC. 6-204. FUND FOR PAYMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
EXPENSES.

ANY REGISTRATION OR INSPECTION FEE, AND PENALTY
SHALL CONSTITUTE A FOND TO DEFRAY PARTIALLY THE COST
OF INSPECTION, SAMPLING, ANALYSIS, AND OTHER EXPENSES
