SEC. 5-405. CONTROL AND ELIMINATION OF MOSQUITOES.
(A) INSPECTIONS, INVESTIGATIONS, AND STUDIES.

THE SECRETARY MAY MAKE INSPECTIONS,
INVESTIGATIONS, STUDIES, AND DETERMINATIONS AS HE
DEEMS ADVISABLE IN ORDER TO ASCERTAIN THE EFFECT OF
MOSQUITOES AND METHODS FOR THEIR CONTROL OR
ELIMINATION IN ANY PART OF THE STATE.

(E) CONSTRUCTION TO CONTROL MOSQUITOES.

IF FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE SOURCES PROVIDED
BY §5-404, THE SECRETARY MAY CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN
DITCHES, DIKES, DAMS, AND OTHER FACILITIES AND MAY
PLACE OR SPREAD INSECTICIDES OR OTHER SUBSTANCES HE
DETERMINES DESIRABLE OR NECESSARY TO CONTROL OR
ELIMINATE MOSQUITOES IN ANY PART OF THE STATE.

SUBTITLE 5. HONEY BEES.
SEC. 5-501. RECORDS.

THE SECRETARY SHALL KEEP RECORDS OF ALL WORK
PERFORMED IN CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SUBTITLE, AND SHALL REPORT IT AS IS REQUIRED FOR ITS
OTHER ACTIVITIES.

SEC. 5-502. INSPECTION AND INVESTIGATION OF APIARIES;
DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION.

INVESTIGATIONS, AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION TO PROMOTE
THE BEE-KEEPING INDUSTRY IN THE STATE.
