10-608. NON-RESIDENT MAY NOT HUNT FROM BOAT OR
FLOATING BLIND UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY RESIDENT;
INELIGIBLE FOR LICENSE.

A NON-RESIDENT OF THE STATE MAY NOT HUNT FROM A

BOAT OR FLOATING BLIND UNLESS THE LEGAL OWNER OR A

RESIDENT CO-OWNER ACCOMPANIES THE NON-RESIDENT ON THE
RIG. A NON-RESIDENT MAY NOT OBTAIN A LICENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language
derived from the last sentence of Article
66C, section 151(e) of the Code and set
forth here for organizational purposes.
The last provision is added in light of the
residency restriction of Article 66C,
section 159(a). The Legislative Council
Joint Committee added new language to
indicate that the resident co—owner must
accompany the non-resident on the rig.

10-609. MINIMUM SIZE OF GUNNING RIGS IN CERTAIN
WATERS.

A PERSON MAY NOT USE A LICENSED GUNNING RIG
MEASURING LESS THAN 16 FEET IN LENGTH OR 20 INCHES IN
HEIGHT, AT THE LOWEST POINT, IN THE FOLLOWING WATERS:

(1)  THE SUSQUEHANNA FLATS AS DEFINED IN §10-623.

(2)  THE ELK AND SASSAFRAS RIVERS IN CECIL COUNTY.
