1342                                        LAWS OF MARYLAND                            [Ch. 4

Subsection (e) presently appears as the
last sentence of Article 66C, section
177 (c) of the Code. New language is added
reflecting the fact that the Natural
Resources Police Force is specifically
charged with enforcing these laws and that
any lav enforcement officer may enforce
them.

Article 66C, section 177(a) is proposed for
deletion because its substance duplicates
proposed subsection (a) and (b). Article
66C, section 177(d) is proposed for
deletion in light of proposed subsection
(d) and the uniform penalty provision of
this title.

The only other changes made are in style.
10-513. PENALTY.

IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER PENALTY PROVIDED BY THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE, ANY PERSON CONVICTED OF
VIOLATING ANY PROVISION OF THIS SUBTITLE SHALL BE
FINED $5 FOR EACH WILD BIRD OR WILD QUADRUPED OR ANY
PART OF THEM MOUNTED OR POSSESSED FOR MOUNTING.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language
derived from Article 66C, section 179, as
amended by Chapter 181, Acts of 1972. It
is set forth here because it establishes an
additional penalty.

SUBTITLE 6. WILD WATERFOWL.
10-601. DEFINITIONS.

(A)    IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE
THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
used as the standard introductory sentence
to a definition section.

(B)   "BLIND SITE" MEANS A SPECIFIC LOCATION IN
THE WATER WHERE A PERSON MAY HUNT WILD WATERFOWL FROM
ANY BOAT OR RAFT WHICH IS TIED TO OR ANCHORED AT A
