REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears
as Article 96A, section 2 (j) of the Code.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added because a similar definition in
Article 1, Section 14 frequently is
overlooked. It is redrafted for clarity in
order to avoid any confusion.

[[(E)]](F) "DEPARTMENT" MEANS DEPARTMENT OF
NATURAL RESOURCES.

as Article 96A, section 2 (b) of the Code,
as amended by Chapter 348, Acts of 1972.
The only changes made are in style.

[[(F)]] (G) "DIRECTOR" MEANS DIRECTOR OF THE
WATER RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION.

as Article 96A, section 2 (c) of the Code,
as amended by Chapter 348, Acts of 1972.
The only changes made are in style.

[[(G)]] (H) "PERSON" INCLUDES THE STATE, ANY
COUNTY, MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, OR OTHER POLITICAL
SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE, OR ANY OF THEIR UNITS, OR AN
INDIVIDUAL, RECEIVER, TRUSTEE, GUARDIAN, EXECUTOR,
ADMINISTRATOR, FIDUCIARY, OR REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY
KIND, OR ANY PARTNERSHIP, FIRM, ASSOCIATION, PUBLIC OR

PRIVATE CORPORATION, OR ANY OTHER ENTITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears
as Article 96A, section 2 (f) of the Code.
It is revised to establish a broad uniform
definition of the word "person" as used in
this title. The definition of "person" as
stated in Article 96A, section 48 of the
Code is added to this definition thereby
broadening the definition. The only other
changes made are in style.

[[(H)]] (I) "POLLUTION" MEANS EVERY
CONTAMINATION OR OTHER ALTERATION OF THE PHYSICAL,
