TITLE 8. WATER AND WATER RESOURCES.
SUBTITLE 1. IN GENERAL.
8-101. DEFINITIONS.

(A) IN THIS TITLE, THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE
MEANINGS INDICATED:

(E) "ADMINISTRATION" MEANS WATER RESOURCES
ADMINISTRATION.

(C) "APPROPRIATE COUNTY GOVERNING BODY" MEANS

OR THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF ANY CHARTERED COUNTY IN WHICH
A PORTION OF THE WATERSHED IS LOCATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived from Article 66C, section 411A(b)
of the Code. This definition is used to
avoid the repetitive use of phrases
indicating that county commissioners are
intended in the case of a non—charter
county and that county council is indicated
in the case of a charter county.
