(10)  All cases, suits, or proceedings in which any prayer or claim for alimony,
annulment of marriage, custody, divorce, guardianship, maintenance, nonpublic
support or visitation has been asserted and from which a right to appeal is granted
by §§ 6 or 7 of Article 5 of this Code or by any other laws of this State.

(11)   All cases or proceedings relating to child care or child placement from
which a right to appeal is granted by § 26 of Article 88A of this Code or by any
other laws of this State.

(12)  All paternity proceedings from which a right to appeal is granted by § 66K
of Article 16 of this Code or by any other laws of this State.

(13)  All suits or proceedings concerning the propriety of the granting or denial
of any approval or license by the Maryland State Board of Censors and from
which a right to appeal is granted by § 19 of Article 66A of this Code or by any
other laws of the State.

(14)  All suits or proceedings initiated under Article 59 of this Code involving
the question of the mental condition of any person and the propriety of the
voluntary or involuntary admission or detention of such person in any Veterans'
Administration hospital or in any facility licensed by or under the jurisdiction of
the Department of Mental Hygiene of the State of Maryland.

(15)   All workmen's compensation cases and any other cases or proceedings
under Article 101 of this Code from which a right to appeal is granted by § 56 of
Article 101 or by any other laws of this State.

(16)  All cases in which any claim is grounded upon any one of the following:
negligence, assault, battery, false imprisonment, other tortious intentional
interference with the person for which an action may be brought in the courts of
Maryland, conversion, trespass to land or chattels, a tort based upon strict liability
for which an action may be brought in the courts of Maryland, damages arising
from or to abate a nuisance, tortious deceit, misrepresentation or fraud,
defamation, invasion of privacy, malpractice or breach of warranty.

(17)  AH actions to enjoin the sale, distribution, showing, or display of property
alleged to be in violation of the State obscenity laws.

(18)  All other actions, cases, causes, suits or proceedings from which a right to
appeal to the Court of Special Appeals is granted by any section of this Code or
by any other laws of this State.

The sole purpose of this section is to distinguish those appeals which are subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Special Appeals from those appeals
which are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Appeals. Nothing in
this section should be construed to create a right to appeal from any order, decree,
judgment or other action, or to abrogate any right of appeal granted by any other
section of this Code or by any other laws of this State.

5B.

When it shall appear that an appellant is or may be entitled to have an appeal
heard and determined in the Court of Appeals or in the Court of Special Appeals,
but not in the appellate court to which an appeal has been taken or transferred, the
appeal shall not on that account be dismissed; but the case shall be transferred by
an order of the court to which the appeal was improperly taken or by the Court of
Appeals to the docket of the proper court, upon such terms as to payment of costs,
including reasonable attorneys' fees, as the order may provide.

21B.

The Court of Appeals may, by writ of certiorari, review any case in the Court of
Special Appeals before or after rendition of decision by the Court of Special
Appeals.]
