AN ACT to repeal [[and re-enact, with amendments, 11 Section 34 of Article 47
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Insolvents," to make the provisions of this Article
[[inapplicable]] applicable to any judgment recovered by civil action for
injuries resulting from seduction or defamation of a [[person of either sex 11
female.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 34 of Article 47 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Insolvents," be and it is
hereby repealed [[and re-enacted, with amendments, ]] to read as follows:
34.
[[The provisions of this article shall not be construed to apply to or in any
manner release, discharge or affect any judgment recovered by civil action for
injuries occasioned by the seduction of any [female] PERSON nor to apply to or
in any manner release, discharge or affect any judgment recovered by civil action
for damages for defaming any [female] PERSON.]]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9(h) of Article 65 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume), title "Militia,"
subtitle "In General," to provide [[that the pension of a deceased former
Adjutant General be paid to a surviving spouse applicable to both sexes]] for
the pensions of Adjutant Generals and their surviving spouses.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
