(C) TEMPORARY LICENSE OF QUALIFICATION. THE BOARD MAY
ISSUE A "TEMPORARY LICENSE" TO A PERSON TO PRACTICE
DENTAL HYGIENE, AS IF SHE OR HE POSSESSED A REGULAR
LICENSE, IF SHE OR HE MEETS THE QUALIFICATIONS
ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD AND HAS A LICENSE TO PRACTICE
DENTAL HYGIENE IN ONE OF THE STATES OF THE UNITED STATES
OR ANY OF ITS TERRITORIES, DISTRICTS, OR POSSESSIONS, OR IN
ANY PROVINCE OF THE DOMINION OF CANADA. THE TEMPORARY
LICENSE IS VALID ONLY UNTIL THE RESULTS OF NEXT BOARD
EXAMINATIONS ARE ANNOUNCED AND LICENSES ARE ISSUED
THEREUNDER, AT WHICH TIME THE TEMPORARY LICENSE ISSUED
PRIOR THERETO AUTOMATICALLY EXPIRES; BUT IF THE
TEMPORARY LICENSE WAS ISSUED WITHIN THIRTY DAYS OF THE
NEXT FOLLOWING BOARD EXAMINATION, IT SHALL NOT EXPIRE
UNTIL THE SECOND FOLLOWING BOARD EXAMINATION. EACH
APPLICATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A FEE OF TEN DOLLARS
($10.00).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 365
(Senate Bill 185)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 26-7(b) of Article 33
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title
"Election Code," subtitle "Fair Election Practices," to require the reporting by
a candidate's treasurer of contributions which exceed certain minimum amounts.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 26-7(b) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title "Election Code," subtitle "Fair
Election Practices," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

26-7.

(b) (1) Upon receipt and before depositing, the following "campaign
contribution receipt" shall be issued by the treasurer or subtreasurer to each
person or treasurer of a committee or group or organization of persons making a
contribution of or purchasing a ticket to any dinner, testimonial, cocktail party,
barbecue, crab feast or similar function in the INDIVIDUAL amount of fifty-one
dollars ($51.00) or more, OR TICKETS IN THE CUMULATIVE AMOUNT
OF TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY-ONE DOLLARS ($251.00) OR MORE or
upon request for any lesser amount, to the candidate or committee of which he is
treasurer or subtreasurer:
