THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CARROLL COUNTY ARE
HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND EMPOWERED TO MAKE AND FROM
TIME TO TIME AMEND, SUPPLEMENT AND REPEAL, RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LICENSES TO CONDUCT
ELECTRICAL BUSINESS WITH CARROLL COUNTY. SUCH RULES
AND REGULATIONS SHALL DEFINE ELECTRICAL WORK TO BE
COVERED AND MAY ALSO PROVIDE FOR EXAMINATIONS OF
APPLICANTS, ISSUANCE OF WORK PERMITS, INSPECTION AND
ENFORCEMENT OF SUCH WORK, AND SUCH OTHER
REQUIREMENTS AS MAY BE DETERMINED NECESSARY TO
SUPERVISE AND CONTROL THE CONDUCT OF THE ELECTRICAL
BUSINESS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST. THE SAID COMMISSIONERS
MAY ALSO PROVIDE FOR [[AN]] A FIVE MEMBER ELECTRICAL
BOARD WHICH SHALL, IF APPOINTED, ADVISE THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS AND AID IN THE SUPERVISION AND
ENFORCEMENT OF ANY REGULATIONS SO ADOPTED PURSUANT
TO THE AUTHORITY GRANTED HEREIN. TWO MEMBERS OF THE
ELECTRICAL BOARD SHALL BE PERSONS WHO ARE IN NO WAY
ASSOCIATED WITH EITHER BY BLOOD OR MARRIAGE, PERSONS
OR CORPORATIONS WHO ARE CURRENTLY OR WITHIN THE PAST
CALENDAR YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THEIR APPOINTMENT
INVOLVED IN THE ELECTRICAL_ BUSINESS IN CARROLL COUNTY
AND WHO SHALL REPRESENT THE GENERAL CITIZENRY OF THAT
COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

(House Bill 890)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4.05(f) of Article 66B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Zoning
and Planning," subtitle "General Development Regulations and Zoning," to
provide that in Worcester County the County Commissioners must adopt an
ordinance with certain procedures and requirements in order for certain zoning
or rezoning actions taken by them to be of full force and effect.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4.05(f) of Article 66B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Zoning and Planning," subtitle
"General Development Regulations and Zoning," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
4.05.
(f) In Worcester County, notwithstanding any other provisions of the law, the
County Commissioners, upon the zoning or rezoning of any land or lands, may
impose such restrictions, conditions or limitations as may be deemed by them to be
appropriate to preserve, improve or protect the general character and design of the
