AMENDMENT NO. 2

Stale Department of Education

On page 111 of the printed bill under the heading "Aid to Education" and under
the program "School Building Construction Aid" and in the line entitled "General
Fund Appropriation" strike out the numerals "76,000,000" and insert in lieu thereof
the numerals "74,500,000".

On page 111 of the printed bill under the heading "Aid to Education" and under the
item "Summary" and in the line entitled "Total General Fund Appropriation" strike
out the numerals "359,406,799" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals "357,906,799",
and in the line entitled "Total Appropriation" strike out the numerals
"415,024,440" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals "413,524,440".

AMENDMENT NO. 3

On page 135 of the printed bill, under the heading "State Department of Education
- Aid to Education 1973 Deficiency Appropriation" and in the program "State Share
of Current Expenses" and on the line entitled "General Fund Appropriation" strike
out the numerals "4,000.000" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals "3.850.000".

And under the program "School Building Construction Aid" and in the line enti-
tled "General Fund Appropriation" strike out the numerals "9,000,000" and insert in
lieu thereof the numerals "5,000,000", and in the line entitled "Total General Fund
Appropriation" thereunder strike out the numerals "13,700,000" and insert in lieu
thereof the numerals "9,550,000".

AMENDMENT NO. 4

26.01.04.02 Salary Adjustments

To amend the State Salary Pay Plan to provide salary adjustments from funds
previously included in the budget of the Department of Personnel for the Judges of
the District Court of Maryland in the amount of $335,750 for the 1974 fiscal year
in accordance with Article 64A, Section 27 and Article 26, Section 47 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland. Also, contingent upon the enactment of House Bill
403 and/or Senate Bill 544 authorizing a new pay plan, in accordance with Article
88B, Section 23a, for Maryland State Police for the 1974 fiscal year in the amount
of $533,177.

LABORATORY ADMINISTRATION

AMENDMENT NO. 5

32.01.06.02 Diagnostic Laboratory Services

Delete the wording in the appropriation shown on page 56 starting with
"Payments hereunder are authorized not to exceed"— continuing on page 57 and
58 and ending on page 59 with-"those in existence at the time the services were
provided." The above indicated wording was inadvertently printed in the budget of
the Laboratory Administration as well as in the Medical Care Programs
Administration where it rightly belongs.

AMENDMENT NO. 6 ADOLESCENTS-BALTIMORE

32.01.24.02 Dietary Services

On page 67 of the printed bill under this program caption delete the following
words—"provided that revenues in excess of this estimate may be made available
by approved budget amendment."
