CHAPTER 10
(Senate Bill 371)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 246(a) of Article 41 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title
"Governor-Executive and Administrative Departments," subtitle "24.
Administrative Procedure Act," to make the Administrative, Executive and
Legislative Review Committee of the General Assembly one of the several
places to which rules and regulations are to be sent under the Administrative
Procedure Act.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 246(a) of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title "Governor-Executive and
Administrative Departments," subtitle "24. Administrative Procedure Act," be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) Each agency shall comply with the provisions of Section 9 of this article,
and any amendments thereto. Each agency shall file forthwith with the clerk of the
Court of Appeals, with the Secretary of State, with the State Library, with each of
the libraries of the respective circuit courts of the several counties and the Supreme
Bench of Baltimore City, WITH THE ADMINISTRATIVE, EXECUTIVE AND
LEGISLATIVE REVIEW COMMITTEE, and with the Department of
Legislative Reference certified copies of all rules now in effect. The Secretary of
State shall keep a permanent register of such rules open to public inspection.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 11
(Senate Bill 389)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 27 of Article 11 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Banks and Trust Companies," subtitle "Banking Board," to
eliminate a reference to a particular sex in the section and to correct language.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 27 of Article 11 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Banks and Trust
Companies," subtitle "Banking Board," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
27.
There is [hereby] created and established a Banking Board which shall be a part
of the Department of Licensing and Regulation and shall consist of three members
to be appointed by the Governor, with the advice of the Secretary of Licensing and
