(78D) WASTE TREATMENT PLANT SUPERVISOR

GRADUATION FROM HIGH SCHOOL OR RECOGNIZED
VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL; MINIMUM SIX (6) YEARS
EXPERIENCE, TWO OF WHICH HAVE BEEN IN SUPERVISORY
CAPACITY; POSSESSION OF STATE CERTIFIED CLASS A WASTE
TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR LICENSE.

(78E) SUPERINTENDENT OF SOLID WASTE OPERATIONS

GRADUATION FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND SEVEN (7)
YEARS RESPONSIBLE EXPERIENCE IN SANITARY LANDFILL
OPERATIONS OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE IN THE OPERATIONS
OF HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT, THREE (3) YEARS OF
WHICH WERE IN THE CAPACITY OF SUPERVISOR.

(79)    Deputy Chief, Bureau of Water and Sewer

Graduation from a recognized high school
and seven (7) years responsible experience in the
operation, repair, maintenance and construction of
water and sewer facilities, including three (3) years
in a supervisory capacity; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.

(80)    Chief, Bureau of Water and Sewer

Graduation from a college or university of
recognized standing with major work in Civil
Engineering and five (5) years experience in
professional engineering, three (3) years of which
shall have been in a supervisory capacity; or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements: Possession of or
eligibility for a Professional Engineer's License.

Graduation from college or university of
recognized standing with major work in public or
business administration, and seven (7) years of
experience in business administration, two (2) years
of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity, or
any combination of education and experience.]
