BALTIMORE COUNTY
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new Section 18-25
be and it is hereby added to the Baltimore County
Code, 1968, title "Offenses—Miscellaneous"; said new
section to read as follows;
SECTION 18-25- HUNTING PROHIBITED ON
RECREATIONAL LANDS.
(A) IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO HUNT
ON ANY LANDS IN BALTIMORE COUNTY UNDER THE CONTROL AND
SUPERVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PARKS,
EXCEPT THAT THIS SECTION SHALL NOT PROHIBIT THE USE OF
DUCK BLINDS AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE INSTALLED BY
SAID DEPARTMENT.
(B) ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND,
UPON CONVICTION THEREOF, SHALL BE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF
NOT LESS THAT $25.00 NOR MORE THAN $100.00.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
affecting the public health, safety or welfare, and
having been passed by the affirmative vote of five
members of the County Council the same shall take
effect from the date of its enactment.
