BALTIMORE COUNTY

BILL NO. 1-72

AN ACT to prohibit the parking of vehicles in such a
manner as to prevent access to driveways and
parking areas by repealing and re—enacting with
amendments Section 17—22 of the Baltimore County
Code, 1968, as amended by Bill No. 45, 1971,
title "Motor Vehicles and Traffic" Article III.
Stopping, Standing, Parking and Abandoning.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND That Section 17-22 of
the Baltimore County Code, 1968, as amended by Bill
No. 45, 1971, title "Motor Vehicles and Traffic"
Article III. Stopping, Standing, Parking and
Abandoning, be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Section 17-22.

No vehicle shall be [so] parked or [otherwise]
stopped on any road, street, highway or alley in the
county IN SUCH A MANNER as to prevent the free passage
of other vehicles, [in both directions at the same
time.] OR TO PREVENT INGRESS OR EGRESS AT ANY DRIVEWAY
OR PARKING AREA.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect forty—five days after its
enactment.

APPROVED AND ENACTED: February 15, 1972.
