Section 17—605. Water connection charge.

(b) The user connection charge shall be imposed
with respect to every connection to the water system
of the county which charge shall be [one hundred sixty
dollars] TWO HUNDRED COLLARS ($200.00) for a
three—fourths inch connection with a five—eighths inch
meter, and in cases where larger size connections and
meters are necessary, the user connection charge shall
be the actual cost of such connection as determined by
the department of public works; BUT IN NO EVENT SHALL
SUCH CHARGE BE LESS THAN THE MINIMUM CHARGE.

[[(d) The capital connection charge for single
family dwelling units shall be [three] FOUR hundred
dollars ($400.00). For each structure or group of
structures containing more than one single family
dwelling unit including apartment houses, rental
townhouses and mobile home parks containing spaces for
more than one mobile home, the capital connection
charge shall be [one] FOUR hundred [eighty] dollars
($400.00) multiplied by the number of such units or
spaces.

(e) The capital connection charge for properties
used for commercial or industrial purposes, including
motels and restaurants, shall be [three] FOUR hundred
dollars ($400.00) for each fourteen thousand five
hundred square feet of property, or fraction thereof
so used.

(g) Except in the case of existing structures,
the water connection charge shall be paid in full at
the time application for connection is made. with
respect to existing single family dwelling units, the
USER connection charge shall be paid in full upon the
date application for connection is made, or at the
option of the applicant, [in twelve (12) monthly
installments, or in one (1) installment,] on or before
