SECTION 17-613. ADOPTION OF BASIC FRONT FOOT BENEFIT
ASSESSMENTS.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
17-612 HEREOF, THE FOLLOWING BASIC RATES ARE HEREBY
ESTABLISHED FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION OF LATERAL WATER AND
WASTEWATER LINES AND APPURTENANCES:

(1)   MINIMUM BASIC PATE FOR LATERAL WATER LINES

AND APPURTENANCES

$0.50 PER FRONT FOOT

(2)   MINIMUM BASIC RATE FOR LATERAL WASTE-

WATER LINES AND APPURTENANCES

$0.90 PER FRONT FOOT

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Sections 17-604A, 17-605 (b), [[ (d) , (e), (g) , (h) and
(i) , 17-606(b) , (d) , (e) , (g) and (h),]] 17-607 (a) and
(b) and 17-608(b) of said Code, Title and Subtitle, be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Section 17—604A. Fees for issuance of fire hydrant
permits.

The following charges or deposits shall be made
and collected by the department of public works in
connection with the issuance of fire hydrant permits:

CHARGES

Regular inspection...................$10.00

Inspection for use without permit....$25.00

Use per day per hydrant..............The higher of (a)

$5.00 or (where use is
estimated to exceed
$5.00 per day)
(b) increased or
regular meter rates

Meter installation...................Cost of installa-
tion and removal, plus
fifteen percent (15%)
overhead
