COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

of said Code, Title and Subtitle; and to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section
15-410(f)(5) of said Code, Title 15, "Public
Works," Subtitle 4, "Water and Wastewater"; to
change the rates for water and wastewater
charges, connection charges and assessments; to
correct a cross—reference in the Code, and
matters generally related thereto.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY   COUNCIL

OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new     Section

17—601B be, and it is hereby added to the Anne   Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 17,

"Taxation," Subtitle 6, "Water and Wastewater     Charges

and Assessments," to follow immediately after   Section
17—601A thereof, to read as follows:

SECTION 17-601B. WATER SERVICE TURN ON CHARGE.

IF THE CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICE REMAIN UNPAID
SIXTY (60) DAYS AFTER THE BILLING DATE AND WATER
SERVICE TO THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN TURNED OFF IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 17-601A
HEREOF, A SERVICE CHARGE OF $3.60 SHALL BE IMPOSED TO
RESTORE SUCH SERVICE AFTER THE PAYMENT OF ALL
PREVIOUSLY UNPAID CHANGES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Sections 17-602[[, 17-605(e), 17-606(e),]] and 17-610
through 17—613, inclusive, of said Code, Title and
Subtitle, be, and they are hereby repealed, and new
Sections 17-602[[, 17-605(e), 17-606(e)]] and 17-610
through 17—613, inclusive, be, and they are hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
Sections so repealed, and to read as follows:

SECTION 17-602. RATE SCHEDULE FOR WATER.

THE   FOLLOWING CHARGES FOR METERED WATER DELIVERED

BY THE     COUNTY ARE HEREBY ESTABLISHED FOR ALL MONTHLY

BILLINGS   AFTER AUGUST 1, 1972 AND FOR ALL QUARTERLY

BILLINGS   AFTER OCTOBER 1, 1972:

(1) A MINIMUM CHARGE VARYING WITH METER SIZE
SHALL BE BILLED FOR CONSUMPTION FROM 0 TO 5000 GALLONS
AS FOLLOWS:

(A) TO BE BILLED AND PAID QUARTER-ANNUALLY
