AN ORDINANCE to repeal Title 3, "Buildings", Subtitle
4, "Plumbing Requirements" and Title 12,
"Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Subtitle 11,
"Plumbing", Article I, "In General", of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), and to enact new Sections 12-1100
through 12—1103, inclusive, of said Title 12 and
Subtitle 11 in lieu thereof, to stand in the
place of the sections repealed, to be under the
new Article I, "Plumbing Regulations", to make a
technical correction regarding the adoption of
the Plumbing Code for Anne Arundel County,
Maryland; to amend certain requirements
concerning types of plumbing materials permitted
and plumbing standards; to provide penalties for
violation thereof; and matters generally related
thereto.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Title 3,
"Buildings", Subtitle 4, "Plumbing Requirements" and
Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Subtitle
11, "Plumbing", Article I, "In General", of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements),
be, and they are hereby repealed, and new Sections
12-1100 through 12-1103, inclusive, of Title 12 and
Subtitle 11 be, and they are hereby enacted, in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the Sections
repealed, to read as follows:

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 338B
OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1971 REPLACEMENT
VOLUME), THE SEVENTH DRAFT OP THE PROPOSED REVISION OF
THE STATE PLUMBING CODE DRAFTED BY THE COMMITTEE ON
REVISION OF THE MARYLAND STATE PLUMBING CODE BE, AND
IT IS HEREBY RE-ADOPTED AS THE PLUMBING CODE FOR ANNE
