(TYPE 1-A OR 1-B) CONSTRUCTION; WHEN MORE THAN THREE
(3) STORIES OR FORTY FEET (40') IN HEIGHT OR SEVEN
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (7,500) SQUARE FEET IN AREA OF
PROTECTED NONCOMBUSTIBLE TYPE (2-A) CONSTRUCTION; WHEN
MORE THAN TWO (2) STORIES OR THIRTY FEET (30') IN
HEIGHT OR SIX THOUSAND (6,000) SQUARE FEET IN AREA OF
NONCOMBUSTIBLE TYPE (2-C) OR HEAVY MILL TYPE (3-A)
CONSTRUCTION; WHEN MORE THAN ONE (1) STORY IN HEIGHT
OR THREE THOUSAND (3,000) SQUARE FEET IN AREA OF
ORDINARY TYPE (3-C) OR PROTECTED FRAME TYPE (4-A)
CONSTRUCTION; AND IN EVERY USABLE OR OCCUPIABLE CELLAR
OR STORY WITH CEILING LOCATED LESS THAN SIX FEET (6')
ABOVE GRADE AND MORE THAN THREE THOUSAND (3,000)
SQUARE FEET IN AREA."
(43) Strike all of Subsection 1219.11 and insert
a new Subsection 1219.11 in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place of the subsection so stricken, and to read
as follows:
"SUBSECTION 1219.11. RESIDENTIAL
BUILDINGS: ALL HOTELS, MULTI-FAMILY BUILDINGS,
LODGING HOUSES, DORMITORIES AND BATH HOUSES (USE
GROUPS L-1 AND L-2) HAVING MORE THAN FIFTEEN (15)
SLEEPING ROOMS ABOVE THE FIRST FLOOD OR WITH AN
OCCUPANCY LOAD OF FIFTY (50) OR MORE, OR ANY GROUP L-1
OR L-2 BUILDING WHICH IS OCCUPIED ON MORE THAN TWO
LEVELS SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH AN APPROVED MANUAL
INTERIOR FIRE ALARM SYSTEM."
(44) Strike all of Subsection 1219.12 and insert
a new Subsection 1219.12 in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place of the subsection so stricken, and to read
as follows;
"SUBSECTION 1219.12. INSTITUTIONAL
BUILDINGS: ALL HOSPITALS, ASYLUMS, NURSING HOMES AND
SIMILAR INSTITUTIONAL BUILDINGS (USE GROUP H-2)
ACCOMODATING MORE THAN TWENTY (20) OCCUPANTS SHALL BE
EQUIPPED WITH AN APPROVED FIRE ALARM SYSTEM."
(45) Strike all of Subsection 1219.13 and insert
a new Subsection 1219.13 in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place of the subsection so stricken, and to read
as follows;
"SUBSECTION 1219.13. NURSERY BUILDINGS:
ALL NURSERIES ACCOMMODATING MORE THAN THIRTY (30)
