ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY

"WHEN A PERMIT HAS EXPIRED BY LIMITATION, IT MAY
BE RENEWED WITHIN A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS FROM THE
DATE OF EXPIRATION IF THE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE
PERMIT WAS ORIGINALLY ISSUED HAVE REMAINED UNCHANGED
AND THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE IN LAW OR ORDINANCE THAT
WOULD ADVERSELY AFFECT THE PERMIT. A CHARGE OF TEN
DOLLARS ($10.00) (OR THE ORIGINAL FEE, IF IT IS LESS)
SHALL BE MADE FOR THE RENEWAL."

Section 3-208

(9)   Strike all of Subsection 122.3, captioned
"Violation Penalties", and insert the following new
Subsection 122.3 in lieu thereof, to stand in the
place of the section so repealed, to read as follows:

"122.3 VIOLATION PENALTIES: ANY PERSON
WHO SHALL VIOLATE A PROVISION OF THE BASIC CODE OR
SHALL FAIL TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE REQUIREMENTS
THEREOF OR WHO SHALL ERECT, CONSTRUCT, ALTER OR REPAIR
A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IN VIOLATION OF AN APPROVED
PLAN OR DIRECTIVE OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, OR OF A
PERMIT OR CERTIFICATE ISSUED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
THE BASIC CODE, SHALL BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR,
PUNISHABLE BY A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($100.00) OR BY IMPRISONMENT NOT EXCEEDING SIX
(6) MONTHS, OR BOTH SUCH FINE AND IMPRISONMENT. EACH
DAY THAT A VIOLATION CONTINUES SHALL BE DEEMED A
SEPARATE OFFENSE."

(10)   Strike all of Subsection 123.2, captioned
"Unlawful Continuance", and insert the following new
Subsection 123.3 in lieu thereof, to stand in the
place of the section so repealed, to read as follows:

"123.2 UNLAWFUL CONTINUANCE: ANY PERSON
WHO SHALL CONTINUE ANY WORK IN OR ABOUT THE BUILDING
AFTER HAVING BEEN SERVED WITH A STOP ORDER, EXCEPT
SUCH WORK AS HE IS DIRECTED TO PERFORM TO REMOVE A
VIOLATION OR UNSAFE CONDITIONS, SHALL BE LIABLE TO A
FINE OF NOT LESS THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) OR
IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN SIX (6) MONTHS, OR BY
BOTH FINE AND IMPRISONMENT. EACH CAY THAT SAID
VIOLATION CONTINUES SHALL BE DEEMED A SEPARATE
OFFENSE."

(11)   Strike all of Subsection 126.3, captioned
"Compensation of Board of Survey", and insert the
following new Subsection 126.3 in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place of the section so repealed, to read
