APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE CITY DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM

OF COUNTY

AND
DELEGATING POWER TO APPROVE AMENDMENTS TO PROGRAM

WHEREAS the County of Prince George's (the "County") desires to carry
out the comprehensive city demonstration program (the "Program"), attached
hereto and made a part hereof, with Federal financial assistance under Title I of
the Demonstration Cities and Metropolitan Development Act of 1966, as amended
(the "Act"); and

WHEREAS, a portion of the model neighborhood designated in the Program
is located in the Incorporated Town of Seat Pleasant (the "Municipality"); and

WHEREAS, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is authorized
pursuant to the Act to make grants to, and contract with, city demonstration
agencies to assist a city demonstration agency to carry out the projects and
activities included within its comprehensive city demonstration programs;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Common Council

(local governing body)
of the Municipality, as follows:

SECTION 1. The County is hereby designated by the Municipality as the
city demonstration agency to carry out the Program.

SECTION 2. The Second Action Year Program, including the projects and
activities set forth therein relating to the portion of the model neighborhood
located in the Municipality, is hereby approved to the extent the Program will be
carried out in the Municipality.

SECTION 3. There is hereby delegated to the local governing body of the
County the power to approve amendments to the Program.

CERTIFICATION

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that

of the local governing body of the Municipality designated in the foregoing
Resolution and keeper of its official records.

2. The foregoing Resolution is a true and correct copy of the said
Resolution as finally adopted at a duly authorized meeting of the said local
governing body of the said Municipality held on the 21st day of August, 1972, and
duly recorded in my office.
