And be it further resolved, that on March 20, 1972, in regular session, the
Council passed unanimously the above resolution.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 8-71

By this Resolution, the Mayor and Commissioners of the Town of Luke,
Maryland, amended the phrase "twenty-one years of age" to read "EIGHTEEN
YEARS OF AGE" in Section 14. This amendment was made in accordance with
the requirements as stated in the Annotated Code of Maryland:

14. Voters

Every person who (a) is a citizen of the United States, (b) is at least
EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE, (c) has resided within the corporate limits of the
Town of Luke for one year next preceding any Town election, and (d) is registered
in accordance with the provisions of this Charter, shall be a qualified voter of the
Town. Every qualified voter of the Town shall be entitled to vote at any or all
Town elections.

And be it further resolved, that on March 20, 1973, in regular session, the
Council passed unanimously the above resolution.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 9-71

By this Resolution, the Mayor and Commissioners of the Town of Luke,
Maryland, amended the phrase "has resided within the corporate limits of the
Town of Luke for one year next preceding any Town election" to read "HAS
RESIDED WITHIN THE CORPORATION LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF
LUKE FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRECEDING ANY TOWN ELECTION" in
Section 14. This amendment was made in accordance with the requirements of the
Annotated Code of Maryland:
