applicable thereto. The said public notice shall specify that a public hearing will be
held on the Resolution by the Mayor and City Council of Frostburg, in the City
Hall, Water Street, Frostburg, Maryland, on the 1st day of May, 1972, at 7:30
p.m.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That following said public hearing the
Mayor and City Council will proceed to adopt or reject said Resolution, and if
adopted, that the enlargement of the corporate boundaries of the City of Frostburg
shall become effective on the 15th day of June, 1972, unless a petition for
referendum thereon shall be filed as permitted by law.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That as soon as the enlargement of the
corporate boundaries of the City of Frostburg shall become effective, either as
herein provided or following a referendum, the Mayor shall promptly register both
the original boundaries and the new boundaries with the City Clerk of Frostburg,
with the Director of the Hall of Records, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Allegany County, and with the Director of the Department of Legislative
Reference.

Charter of the Town of Fruitland in Wicomico County, Maryland, as contained in the
Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition) providing for
compensation to be paid to the Board of Election Supervisors of the Town of
Fruitland.
