RESOLVED, that a Notice describing such proposed annexation be published
in the Emmitsburg Chronicle, and that a public hearing be held on the proposed
annexation as required by law.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the consent of more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the
registered voting residents, and twenty-five percent (25%) of the real property of
the land known as "Emmit-Ridge", having consented to the annexation of such
land by the Burgess and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, and proper Notice of a
Hearing of said Annexation having been given by publication in the Emmitsburg
Chronicle and said public hearing having been held on November 6, 1972 at 7:30
P.M. at the Town Office, East Main Street, Emmitsburg, Maryland.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

That the land known as "Emmit-Ridge", being described as follows:

BEGINNING for the same at a point on the corporate limits of Emmitsburg,
said point being in Little Run and on the East outline of the Emmit-Ridge
property, thence leaving said corporate limits and running and binding on the
outlines of said Emmit-Ridge property the following eleven (11) courses and
distances:
