8. That the matters and facts contained in the aforegoing Certificate concerning
the enlargement of the boundaries of The Burgess and Commissioners of
Emmitsburg are true and correct to the best of my knowledge, information and
belief.

WITNESS the hands and Official Seal of the Burgess and Commissioners of
Emmitsburg, a municipal corporation of the State of Maryland, this eleventh day of
September, 1973, and the signature of the presiding officer of the legislative body of
said Town.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the consent of more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the
registered voting residents, and twenty-five percent (25%) of the real property
owners of the land known as "Emmit-Ridge", which is more particularly described
below, having consented to the annexation of such land by the Burgess and
Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED :

That the land known as "Emmit-Ridge", situate on Irishtown Road,
Emmitsburg Election District, Frederick County, Maryland, described as follows:

- BEGINNING for the same at a point on the corporate limits of Emmitsburg,
said point being in Little Run and on the East outline of the Emmit-Ridge
property, thence leaving said corporate limits and running and binding on the
outlines of said Emmit-Ridge property the following eleven (11) courses and
distances;

N 11°30' 04" W 1120.23 feet to a point

S 73°52' 20" W 844.48 feet to a point in the centerline of Irishtown Road;
thence running and binding on said road the following ten (10) courses and
distances;

S 10°02' 43" E 46.95 ft. to a point on said centerline,
S 16°59' 17" E 70.91 ft. to a point on said centerline,
S 24°06' 08" E 46.00 ft. to a point on said centerline,
