existing corporate area; that the only persons residing in the area to be annexed
have joined in the petition for annexation; and that the Petitioner is the owner of
all of the assessed valuation of the real property located in said area to be
annexed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
EASTON THAT enlargement of the corporate boundaries of the Town of Easton
be and it is hereby proposed by annexation of the area comprised within the
boundaries described below and by changing the Town boundaries in accordance
with the following description:

BEGINNING for the same at a stone heretofore set at the Westerly most corner of
that tract or parcel of land conveyed by and described in a deed from Oliver S.
Mullikin, Trustee, to Golton Inc., dated 8, November 1971, and recorded among the
Land Records of Talbot County in Liber J.T.B. No. 457, Folio 332, said stone being
a common corner between the last mentioned conveyance and the lands conveyed by
Mary Thelma Hopkins Vaughn to Golton Inc., dated 13, December 1971, and
recorded among the Land Records aforesaid in Liber J.T.B. No. 458, Folio 288, and
running thence binding on the first mentioned conveyance with bearing referenced to
the Town of Easton Boundary as now surveyed and adjusted to conform therewith,
eleven courses viz; North 31°29'23" East, 2454.48 feet, to a stone heretofore set;
South 62°32'26" East, 1316.25 feet, to a pipe heretofore set; South 63° 11'33" East,
850.35 feet, to a pipe now set; South 60°24 34" East, 157.25 feet, to a pipe now set;
South 54° 13' 12" East, 136.50 feet, to a pipe now set; South 64°29'46" East, 94.22
feet, to a pipe now set in the Northwesterly right-of-way line of Maryland Route 328,
as shown on Maryland State Road Commission Plat No. 9629 and 9630, thence
binding thereon. South 52°53'13" West, 2255.80 feet, and South 52°27'35" West,
396.02 feet, to a pipe now set; thence leaving said road, North 50°03'33" West,
374.00 feet, to a pipe now set; South 60°56'16" West, 151.91 feet, to a monument
heretofore set; thence continuing this same direction. South 60°56'16" West, 128.77
feet, to a monument heretofore set; thence South 61°57'41" West, 269.14 feet to a
pipe now set at the end of the sixth or North 61°25'14" East, 87.73 feet line of the
tract of land conveyed by Mary Thelma Hopkins Vaughn to Golton Inc., aforesaid,
thence leaving the parcel of land first mentioned herein, binding on the last mentioned
conveyance, as now surveyed and adjusted to match the Town of Easton Boundary,
South 38°05'42" East, 453.51 feet, to a monument now set in the Northwesterly
right-of-way line of Maryland Route 328 aforesaid, thence binding thereon, South
52°13'02" West, 74.46 feet, to intersect the North 54°00'00" West, 1859.30 feet
line of the Town of Easton Boundary, thence leaving the road, binding on the Town of
Easton Boundary, North 54°00'00" West, 1797.33 feet, to a monument heretofore
set at the end of said line, thence leaving said Town of Easton Boundary, binding on
the third or North 82°49'42" East, 578.00 feet line of the conveyance from Mary
Thelma Hopkins Vaughn to Golton Inc., aforesaid, North 83°22'08" East, 578.00
feet to the beginning hereof containing 129.354 acres of land more or less.

Said proposed annexation being more particularly shown as
"The Golt Farm" upon a map made by Frederick Ward Associates,
Inc., Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a public hearing be held by this
body, with respect to said proposed annexation, such hearing to be held in the office of
the Mayor and Council of Easton, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on Monday, April 17, 1972;
provided that public notice of such hearing shall first be given pursuant to the
provisions of Section 19 (d) of said Article 23 A.
