exact copy of this Resolution shall be posted at the Town Office for a period of at
least forty days following its adoption, and provided further that a copy of this
Resolution shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of
Aberdeen not less than four times, at weekly intervals within a period of at least
forty days after its adoption.

SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ORDAINED and ENACTED,

that as soon as the charter amendment hereby resolved, ordained and enacted
becomes effective, either as herein provided or following a referendum, the Town
Manager shall send separately, by registered mail, to the Secretary of State of
Maryland, to the Department of Legislative Reference, to the Hall of Records, to
the Maryland State Library, and to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford
County, the following information concerning this Charter amendment: (1) the
complete text of this Resolution; (2) the date of the referendum election, if any,
held with respect thereto; (3) the number of votes cast for and against the question
containing the charter amendment, whether by the Commissioners of Aberdeen or
in a referendum; and (41 the effective date of this Charter amendment.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. ORDAINED and

ENACTED that the Town Manager of the Commissioners of Aberdeen be and
hereby specifically is enjoined and instructed to carry out the provisions of Section
2 and 3 hereof and, as evidence of said compliance, the said Town Manager shall
cause to be affixed to the minutes of this meeting (1) an appropriate certificate of
publication of the newspaper in which this Resolution shall have been published
and (2) return receipts of the mailings referred to in Section 3, and further shall
complete and execute or have completed and executed any other necessary
certificates or documents.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, WE have hereunto set our hands and the seal of
The Commissioners of Aberdeen this tenth day of April, 1972.

A Resolution of The Commissioners of Aberdeen adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article XI E of the Constitution of Maryland and of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Corporations - Municipal"
to amend the charter of The Commissioners of Aberdeen by adding new Section
25A to the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1965 Edition), said
Code being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and
containing, in whole or in part, the Charter of The Commissioners of Aberdeen,
providing The Commissioners of Aberdeen with power and authority to borrow
Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) for the purpose of constructing a
fire apparatus and equipment building to be used as a headquarters for the
Aberdeen Fire Department, Inc., a volunteer fire company, and to issue notes or
