LESS; AND (2) THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IN A GAME IS
UNDER ONE HUNDRED (100): AND (3) THE LICENSEE IS A
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION OR A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION.
THE POLICE COMMISSIONER MAY FOR CAUSE REVOKE ANY
SPECIAL ANNUAL LICENSE. THE COMMISSIONER MAY
PROMULGATE SUCH EMULATIONS AS ARE REASONABLY
NECESSARY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS SECTION. Provided,
that nothing herein contained shall be construed to permit the playing of said
games on Sunday; and provided further that the provisions of this section shall
apply only to Baltimore City.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 127
(House Bill 90)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 11-101 of Article 66
1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "11. Rules of the Road,"
subheading "Part 1. Obedience to and Effect of Traffic Laws," to include
Queen Anne's County among those counties in which any person operating a
motor vehicle on private property which is used by the public in general shall be
deemed in violation of provisions of certain parts of the vehicle laws to the same
extent as if the motor vehicle were being operated on a public highway and to
clarify the punctuation therein.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 11-101 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Vehicle
Laws," subtitle "11. Rules of the Road," subheading "Part 1. Obedience to and
Effect of Traffic Laws," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

11-101.

The provisions of this subtitle relating to the operation of vehicles refer
exclusively to the operation of vehicles upon highways except:

(1)  Where a different place is specifically referred to in a given section; and

(2)  The provisions of Part IX of this subtitle and subtitle 10 shall apply upon
highways and elsewhere throughout the State.

(3)  In Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil,
Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George's,
QUEEN ANNE'S, St. Mary's, Talbot, Washington, and Wicomico counties any
person operating a motor vehicle on private property and in Montgomery County
on any property owned by the Board of Education or Montgomery College which
is used by the public in general in violation of the provisions of this subtitle shall
be deemed in violation of the law to the same extent as if the motor vehicle were
being operated on a public highway and the violation carries the same penalty.
