1950                                            CERTIFICATIONS

for the adoption of said Chapter 530 and 179 votes were cast against the adoption
of said Chapter 530, the said Chapter 530 of the Acts of 1972 has therefore been
ratified by the duly qualified voters of Montgomery County, Maryland.

30th day of November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred
and Seventy-two.

1972, CHAPTER 531 - Alcoholic Beverages in Clarksburg

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland on November 7, 1972,
an Act known as Chapter 531 of the Acts of 1972 was submitted to the voters of
the 2nd Election District of Montgomery County under the provisions of said
Chapter 531 of the Acts of 1972, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37(a) of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Local Licenses and License Provisions," to
exclude Clarksburg (2nd district) from the election districts in Montgomery
County where issuance of alcoholic beverages are prohibited and providing for
referendum thereon.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 461 votes were cast
for the adoption of said Chapter 531 and 521 votes were cast against the adoption
of said Chapter 531, the said Chapter 531 of the Acts of 1972 has therefore failed
of ratification.

of Election Laws of the State of Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this
