1972, CHAPTER 248 - LaVale Volunteer Rescue Squad

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the Special Election held in Election District 29, Precincts 1 and 2, and
parts of Election District 5 and Election District 6 of Allegany County on August
29, 1972, an Act known as Chapter 248 of the Acts of 1972 was submitted to the
voters thereof under the provisions of said Chapter 248 of the Acts of 1972, said
Act being as follows:

AN ACT to add new Sections 166E, 166F, 166G and 166H to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition, being Article 1 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany County," subtitle "Fire
Companies," to follow immediately after Section 166D thereof, as added by
Chapter 5 of the Acts of 1971; to be under the new subheading "LaVale Volunteer
Rescue Squad, Incorporated," to create and generally provide for the LaVale
Volunteer Rescue Squad in Allegany County and generally relating thereto, and to
provide for a local referendum thereon.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 345 votes were cast
for the adoption of said Chapter 248 and 243 votes were cast against the adoption
of said Chapter 248, the said Chapter 248 has therefore been ratified by a majority
of the qualified voters of Election District 29, Precincts 1 and 2, and parts of
Election District 5 and Election District 6 of Allegany County.

of Election Laws of the State of Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this
15th day of September, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred
and Seventy-two.

1972, CHAPTER 530- Alcoholic Beverages in Barnesville

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland on November 7, 1972,
an Act known as Chapter 530 of the Acts of 1972 was submitted to the voters of
the 11th Election District of Montgomery County under the provisions of Chapter
530 of the Acts of 1972, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37(a) of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Local Licenses and License Provisions," to
submit the amendment to local referendum, to allow the sale of alcoholic
beverages in Barnesville, Montgomery County, subject to a referendum.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 319 votes were cast
