(B) INVESTIGATING COMMITTEE. THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES
OR THE SENATE, AFTER RECEIVING THE REPORT, MAY ESTABLISH
BY RESOLUTION AN INVESTIGATING COMMITTEE UNDER THE
SUBTITLE "LEGISLATIVE INVESTIGATING COMMITTEES: CODE OF
FAIR PROCEDURES" IN ARTICLE 40 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF
MARYLAND; and be it further
RESOLVED, That, the rules above listed for adoption in this Joint Resolution
shall take effect simultaneously on Rules of both the Seriate and of the House of
Delegates of Maryland immediately upon passage by a separate constitutional
majority in such House of the General Assembly of Maryland; and be it further
RESOLVED, That upon the final and official adoption of this Joint Resolution
by both Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the Chairman of the
Committee on Legislative Ethics is requested to send a copy of this Joint
Resolution to each member of the General Assembly of Maryland and generally to
circulate copies of this Joint Resolution among the news media and other
interested persons and agencies in the State of Maryland.

(House Joint Resolution 11)
House Joint Resolution congratulating the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire
Company and First Aid Team for winning the International Rescue and First
Aid Association's First Aid Team World Championship.
The Members of the General Assembly of Maryland wish to send their sincere
congratulations to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and First Aid
Team for honors won in a competition on October 6, 1972.
After many hours of practice, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and
First Aid Team competed in and won 1st Place in the International Rescue and
First Aid Association's First Aid Team Competition in Virginia Beach, Virginia,
on Friday, October 6, 1972.
The team members were as follows: J. Walter Anthony, Head Coach; William
Kimmel, Assistant Coach; Robert Hutson, Team Captain; Anthony Balcer;
Edward Kimmel; Charles Morkosky and George Hall, Alternate.
This team competed against forty-five teams, some of which were professional,
from Canada and the United States. There were three divisions - Youth, Female
and Adult. The Joppa-Magnolia Squad won the Adult team competition and
attained the highest score of the three divisions.
The team scored 1200 out of a possible 1240 points. Out of the three problems
presented, Joppa-Magnolia scored as follows:
Problem 1 - 420 points out of possible 420 Problem 2 - 365 points out of possible
375 Problem 3-415 points out of possible 445
The success of the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and First Aid
Team brought honor to the team and to the State of Maryland. Every Member of
the House of Delegates of Maryland joins in congratulating the team for its
