AN ACT to repeal Section 111 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Calvert
County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle "Circuit Court"; to repeal Section
23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County (1969 Edition, being
Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles
County," subtitle "Circuit Court"; to repeal Section 12-10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1963 Edition, being Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County,"
subtitle "Circuit Court"; to repeal Section 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of St. Mary's County (1965 Edition, being Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "St. Mary's County," subtitle "Circuit Court";
and to repeal all laws amending these several sections of the Codes of the Public
Local Laws, including without limitation Chapters 58, 617, and 730 of the Acts
of 1972 and to enact in lieu thereof a new Section 35A in Article 26 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland 1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts,"
subtitle "Circuit Courts for the Counties-Court Stenographers," to follow
immediately after Section 35 thereof, revising and recodifying the laws
concerning court reporters in the Seventh Judicial Circuit comprising the
counties of Calvert, Charles, Prince George's, and St. Mary's; relating to the
appointment, salary, work, and procedures of the several court reporters in
these counties and this circuit, and providing generally for court reporters and
the related duties of certain local officials in the Seventh Judicial Circuit for the
counties of Calvert, Charles, Prince George's, and St. Mary's.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 111 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Calvert
County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle "Circuit Court," Section 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County (1969 Edition, being Article 9 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County," subtitle "Circuit
Court," Section 12-10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1963 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Prince George's County," subtitle "Circuit Court," Section 7 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County (1965 Edition, being Article
19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), "St. Mary's County," subtitle
"Circuit Court," and all laws amending these several sections of the Codes of
Public Local Laws, including without limitation Chapters 58, 617, and 730 of the
Acts of 1972, be and they are hereby repealed and that new Section 35A be and it
is hereby enacted in lieu thereof in Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Circuit Courts for the
Counties-Court Stenographers," to follow immediately after Section 35 thereof,
