Ch. 853                            MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                                 1745

(b) Any revenues collected under the authority of this section within the
boundaries of the City of Annapolis shall be allocated and distributed in equal
amounts to the City of Annapolis and to Anne Arundel County.

[(c) The authority to tax under the provisions of this section shall expire on July
1, 1973.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall be
effective notwithstanding the passage of any other Act of the General Assembly
which shall become effective July 1, 1973 and shall expire July 1, 1975 and be
applicable within Anne Arundel County, and this Act shall prevail over any
provisions of any other Act that is inconsistent with the provisions of this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 13(h), 14(g)(l).
14(g)(2), 19(f-2)(3), 57(g), 69(e), 99, 160(b), 160(c), 165(c) of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer and Light Wine
Licenses," "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," "Application for License,"
"Revocation and Suspension of Licenses," "Hours and Days for Sale," and
"County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries;" to add new [ [Section]]
Sections 14(g)(4), 19(f-2)(5), and 126(e) to Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," [[subtitle]] subtitles" Beer and Light Wine Licenses." "Beer, Wine
and Liquor Licenses," and "Restrictions upon Licensees," to follow
immediately after [[Section]] Sections 14(g)(3), 19(f-2)(4), and 126(d),
respectively, and to repeal Section 116(b) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Restrictions upon Licensees;" to allow holders
of a Beer and Light Wine License, Class A Off Sale in Harford County to
obtain a special Sunday Off Sale only license upon payment of a fee; to allow
the holder of a Class B-1 restaurant license in Harford County to obtain a.
special Sunday On and Off Sale License upon payment of a fee, to allow Class
B-2 [[restaurants]] restaurant license in Harford County to obtain special
Sunday [ [on-sale]] on and off sale licenses upon payment of a fee; to [ [reduce
the one year full-time operation period to qualify for an alcoholic beverage
license to six months, with an]] create an exception from the one year time
period requirement applicable to an application for a Beer, Wine and Liquor
License, Class B on sale in Harford County for Harford County businesses
disrupted by fire or other disasters; [ [to reduce the one year period of average
receipts from the sale of food in excess of alcoholic beverages to qualify for an
alcoholic beverage license to six months; ]] to require filing monthly reports of
gross receipts for sale of food and alcoholic beverages for and during license
period in Harford County; to require the holder of a Beer, Wine and Liquor
License, Class B on sale to sell liquor inside the premises only and to allow the
holder of such a restaurant or hotel license to sell beer and light wine on and off
