ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. HOWEVER, UNLESS AND UNTIL THE
TALBOT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ENACT A LAW WHICH IS
CONTRARY TO A PROVISION OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC GENERAL
LAWS REGULATING THE [[MANUFACTURE,]] RETAIL SALE [[,

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, THE PROVISIONS OF THE CODE OF
PUBLIC GENERAL LAWS SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN TALBOT COUNTY

(A)   THE TALBOT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL REGULATE
THE [[MANUFACTURE,]] RETAIL SALE [ [, DISTRIBUTION,
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE]] OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
WITHIN TALBOT COUNTY.

(B)       ANY LAW ENACTED BY THE TALBOT COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS PURSUANT TO SECTION 3(EE) OF ARTICLE 25
SHALL PREVAIL OVER ANY PROVISION OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC
GENERAL LAWS OF MARYLAND REGULATING THE
[[MANUFACTURE,]] RETAIL SALE [[, DISTRIBUTION,
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE]] OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
HOWEVER, UNLESS AND UNTIL THE TALBOT COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS ENACT A LAW WHICH IS CONTRARY TO A
PROVISION OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC GENERAL LAWS REGULATING
THE [[MANUFACTURE,]] RETAIL SALE [[, DISTRIBUTION,

REMAIN IN EFFECT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

(House Bill 975)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 132(g) of Article 66C
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Fish,"
subheading "Upland and Migratory Game Birds and Game Animals," to
provide that the owner of a vehicle, if present, shall be presumed to be guilty of
a violation of firing a weapon from a motor vehicle, or the operator of the
vehicle if the owner is not present.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 132(g) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
