126                                        LAWS OF MARYLAND                                 Ch. 68

SHALL CAUSE COPIES OF THE LAWS TO BE PREPARED, CERTIFIED
UNDER THE GREAT SEAL, AND DELIVERED TO THE STATE
DEPARTMENT OF LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE TO BE COMPILED AND
INDEXED.

(B)     THE DEPARTMENT [[OF LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE]] SHALL
INCLUDE IN THE COMPILATION AND INDEX EXECUTIVE ORDERS
AND OTHER DOCUMENTS DELIVERED TO IT PURSUANT TO § 15CE
OF THIS ARTICLE AND CERTIFICATES OF THE SECRETARY OF
STATE CERTIFYING THE OUTCOME OF ANY REFERENDUM VOTE
TAKEN UPON ANY LAW PASSED AT A PRECEDING SESSION OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND NOT PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED.

(C)    UPON THE COMPLETION OF COMPILATION AND INDEXING,
THE DEPARTMENT [[OF LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE]] SHALL
DELIVER THE COPIES OF THE LAWS, ORDERS, AND CERTIFICATES
TO THE PRINTER TO WHOM THE CONTRACT FOR PRINTING THEM
HAS BEEN AWARDED. THE PRINTER SHALL PRINT THEM
PROMPTLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF HIS CONTRACT,
AND DELIVER THE PRINTED VOLUMES TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE
STATE LIBRARY.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That not later than June
10, 1973, the Secretary of State shall deliver to the director of the Department of
Legislative Reference a copy of every executive order then in the possession of the
Secretary of State, if the order was issued subsequent to January 7, 1969 and is
still in effect on June 9, 1973. The provisions of this section apply in 1973 only, in
lieu of the provisions of Article 41, Section 15CE(a) as contained in Section 2 of
this Act.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 69
(Senate Bill 497)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, without amendment, §§ 406B and 406C of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1972 Supplement), title and subtitle "Crimes and Punishments", subheading
"Minors - Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in Worcester County and in Anne
Arundel County", to make clear the legislative intent that these sections are
properly codified.

WHEREAS, Chapters 181 and 712, Laws of 1972, both amended §§ 406B and
406C of Article 27 of the Code, and the sections have been codified giving partial
effect to both 1972 bills, but it is deemed desirable to re-enact both sections
without amendment to give legislative sanction to the codification.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That §§ 406B and 406C of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title and subtitle
"Crimes and Punishments", subheading "Minors - Possession of Alcoholic
Beverages in Worcester County and in Anne Arundel County", be and each is
