Interim Supplement), '"Real Property", title "III Recordation", subtitle "I.General
Rules and Exceptions", to follow immediately after Section 3-101 (a)(3) thereof,
and to read as follows:
3-101.
(A)(4)THE CLERKS OF THE SEVERAL LAW AND EQUITY COURTS
OF THE SEVERAL COUNTIES AND OF BALTIMORE CITY SHALL NOT
REFUSE TO RECEIVE FOR RECORDING ANY DEED OR OTHER
RECORDABLE INSTRUMENT OTHERWISE MEETING ALL THE
PROPER REQUISITES FOR RECORDING AND ACCOMPANIED BY THE
CORRECT FEES AND TAXES THEREFOR, BECAUSE THE DEED OR
INSTRUMENT WAS DELIVERED BY MAIL, OR NOT IN PERSON,
WHERE IT IS ACCOMPANIED BY A LETTER FROM AN
ATTORNEY-AT-LAW OR PARTY TO THE INSTRUMENT REQUESTING
OR DIRECTING ITS RECORDATION. NOTHING IN THIS SUBSECTION
SHALL REQUIRE A CLERK TO PERFORM ANY FUNCTION WHICH HE
WOULD NOT NORMALLY HAVE TO PERFORM IN THE CASE OF AN
INSTRUMENT DELIVERED IN PERSON.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 1974.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 5(d) and (e) of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Manufacturer's and Wholesaler's Licenses," to
permit wine manufacturers to sell certain wine at retail prices to persons
participating in guided tours of their facilities.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 5(d) and (e) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Manufacturer's and Wholesaler's Licenses," be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(d) A Class 3 manufacturer's license shall be designated as a winery license and
shall entitle the holder to establish and operate in this State a plant for fermenting
and bottling wine at the location therein described, to import bulk wine from the
holder of a nonresident dealer's permit, and to sell and deliver wine to any
wholesale licensee or permit holder in this State, or person outside of this State
authorized to acquire same OR TO SELL WINE MADE FROM PRODUCTS
GROWN IN MARYLAND AT A RETAIL PRICE AT THE PLANT TO
PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN A GUIDED TOUR OF THE FACILITY.
THE PURCHASE SHALL BE LIMITED TO [[ONE QUART OR ONE
FIFTH OF A GALLON]] NOT MORE THAN ONE QUART PER PERSON
PER YEAR PROVIDED THE PURCHASER HAS ATTAINED THE
